There’s a lot of style at Christian Brothers High School. From Fjällräven backpacks to Dr. Martens, it’s clear that CB students know how to look fly and stay current with the trends.

But what about teachers?

The Talon talked to some trendsetting teachers, whose unique sense of style is worthy of a magazine cover.

Ms. Cassetta

East of Eden? More like East of E-dayum!!! Ms. Cassetta looks lovely in a velvet top in a lovely hue (Langston Hughes?) of red and silver jewelry.

English teacher Ms. Chrys Cassetta sports an eclectic wardrobe, utilizing a wide array of colors and styles. Matching jewelry is a must, as Ms. Cassetta frequently layers necklaces and dabbles in hoop earrings.

“I dress for myself,” she declares with confidence.

Ms. Cassetta assures us that a sizable wardrobe is necessary to keep her fashion sense jazzy; she doesn’t repeat outfits any less than two weeks apart.

Classy outfits with on-point coordination will tell you that this teacher knows what she’s doing.

Mr. McIntosh

Van Gogh couldn’t paint a masterpiece that’s better than Mr. McIntosh’s flawless fashion.

Art teacher and hacky sack legend Mr. Findlay McIntosh often goes for the timeless pairing of a bright collared shirt with brown or grey dress pants.

But this art teacher is anything but basic, often wearing fun socks for a whimsical twist to a classic look.

“I have a lot of interesting ties,” he adds, “but I also will wear bow ties.” Mr. McIntosh also rocks a pair of John Lennon-style glasses.

A creative sense of style accompanies this one-of-a-kind teacher.

Mrs. Mundo

You don’t need to speak Spanish to know that Mrs. Mundo is the definition of “muy caliente.”

Spanish teacher Mrs. Adriana Mundo has a sense of style that is as vibrant and exciting as she is.

“I like fashion because it makes me feel good,” says the fashion goddess. “And it also makes me feel good when students appreciate my fashion and it brightens my day.”

She loves mixing colors and textures. Her feet normally tread in neutral-colored pumps, perfect for strutting down the 700s runway.

Mrs. Mundo brings the energy of her Mexican heritage and sunny personality to the classroom every day, and that reflects in her fabulous fashion taste.

Fashion can tell you a lot about someone, and the top-notch fashion sense of the CB teachers reflects the energetic and inclusive community of our school. So follow the great example set by our teachers, and don’t be afraid to embrace your uniqueness.
