“Oh! I got this parenting cassette tape that teaches your child self confidence,” Joseph Nazareno (’17) recalled. “I’d just like to say,” Jennifer Roberts (’18) refuted, “I paid for that, technically.” “No! I paid for it. You picked it out, but I paid for it. You paid for the Joe Jonas pillow.” “Yeah, thats’s true. […]
“I’d just like to say,” Jennifer Roberts (’18) refuted, “I paid for that, technically.”
“No! I paid for it. You picked it out, but I paid for it. You paid for the Joe Jonas pillow.”
“Yeah, thats’s true. I also got a flower hat for Halloween.”
“Oh wait! I almost forgot about Mormon rap, the single. On cassette. It’s a ‘cassingle.'”
Someone walking in on this conversation may experience confusion, intrigue, or even fear. But this is thrifting — CB edition
“It’s just a good time, man,” the completely relaxed Nazareno added.
“You get to find some funky stuff,” Jenn concluded.
Eden Kolb (’17) is an avid thrifter. She sports Thrift Town’s winter edition jacket.
Peter Levis (’17) supports his beloved Warriors while also reppin’ the thrift life.
What many may not know is that CB is full of expert thrifters. We already met Joseph and Jenn, but Nick Hilton’s (’17) guilty pleasure lands him at thrift stores quite often. He shops at Thrift Town “because it’s super cheap.”
Nick shows off his thrift town pick ups all the time. Some additions to his closet he is extremely proud of (even though the rest of us may be less proud of this purchase.)
“I bought some very, very high short shorts,” Nick explained.
Joseph Nazareno (’17) didn’t choose the thrift life — the thrift life chose him.
You go, Mary Hancock (’17)!
