Take a look at the classic CB tradition for incoming freshman as they are welcomed to the Falcon’s Nest.
Lock-In is a great way for freshman to familiarize themselves with the campus, meet their fellow classmates, and get to know some teachers and older students. With lots of games, hilarious and embarrassing skits, dancing, group bonding activities, and CB spirit, it’s hard for the freshman Class of 2019 to not have a fantastic time at this year’s Lock-In.
Ana-Sophia Lera (’19) loved Lock-In, saying “it was one of the best experiences so far.”
“I thought that Lock-In was really fun and I had a great time,” David Smiley (’19) adds.
Lock-In allows freshmen to get to know their classmates and bond with them through icebreakers, group games, and of course, lots of dancing with DJ Hightop.
“DJ Hightop is my favorite,” Ana-Sophia declared. “I think it was good that we met people before school.”
Most students that attended Lock-In say that the dance with DJ Hightop was their favorite event of the night. However, Evan Recanzone (’19) says the 2 a.m. snack of Little Caesars was the best.
“I liked the pizza. That was my favorite part.”
Here’s some photos that capture the excitement of this overnight event.
