There are a couple of things that every CB student needs to get through their four years of high school.

While the phrase “must haves” often imply that you will not be able to function without something, that it not true for this list. Everything on the list will just make your time here as a CB student much easier. This list is not in order of importance, for everything that is included has equal importance our eyes. After reading this list, watch the success set in.

  1. iPad with Internet synced to the school WiFi: There’s nothing worse than sitting in class with nothing to do because you do not have an iPad. The first thing you need to succeed at CB is an iPad.
  2. iPad case: For all of the unpredictable accidents that can occur. The desks sometimes have dips and grooves that will send your iPad flying with one tip of the foot
  3. Camelbak water bottle: Since CB is an outdoor campus it is easy to get dehydrated and in order to succeed in academics — students need to be well nourished and hydrated.
  4. Flannel: To add a little flare to your wardrobe, keep you warm in a cool breeze, or just to give you that lumberjack look
  5. “Go to” pair of Converse shoes: on a hard day, perhaps a Monday morning, comfort is important. The comfort of Converse can make everything better especially when trekking from the STEM to the counseling office.
  6. North Face backpack: OKAY, look around the hallways, this one is self explanatory. Everyone has them therefore everyone needs them.
  7. Parking pass (or a loving and willing parent): There’s nothing worse than sitting in class on a Monday morning and having your teacher call you to the front to move your car because you do not have a parking pass. There’s also nothing worse than not being able to get to school because your parent won’t take you and missing a test and getting yelled out by your teacher. Yes, this is a hypothetical scenario, but having proper transportation is still a must.
  8. Favorite college sweatshirt: For those days when the wind picks up and there’s a chilly breeze. Be aware though, sometimes people will stop you in the hallway and ask you if that’s the school you actually want to go to.
  9. TI-84: This is on the list for obvious reasons. I cannot count how many times my math teachers have complained about always lending out calculators.
  10. Khakis: Technically these are the only pants that are in dress code and there are quite a number of liturgies, at all of them khakis are more than mandatory.
  11. Go to pair of blue jeans: For free dress days! But remember: they cannot have rips in them.
  12. School spirit: B-B-B-R-O-B-R-O-T-H-E-R-S! School spirit is required in order to be apart of the pumped up crowds and to help us always win in school spirit even when we lose in athletic abilities.
  13. Netflix account: To break up the long hours of studying and school dedication.
  14. CB polo: Two words: liturgy days. Or just any day when you’re feeling a little snazzy!
  15. Great personality: At CB the ONLY thing that is required for success is a great personality, that includes a good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and a good work ethic
