Check out the latest foot fashion craze that is sweeping CB.
Christian Brothers may have a dress code but can our individualism still shine through? A few CB students have found a good outlet to showing personal style while still remaining in the dress code: colorful and unique socks!
The CB sock trend has been up and coming for a while but is getting more serious. Ms. Cheryl Flaherty a history and lacrosse coach gave her input on the sock craze, noting that ” It’s a very cool way to express yourself.”
Joseph Delgadillo (’15) has been seen sporting his funky socks ever since his freshman year. Joe’s socks have even caught the attention of CB religion teacher, Mr.Cardenas, who says he has noticed the trend and seen the many impressive socks on campus like the mix and matching of different socks.
Andrew McGee (’14) was seen wearing these flashy socks to compliment those blue and green Nike Frees. The senior said he likes these specific pair of socks because they are simply “magical”.
Alexis Navarro (’15) was seen at upper division lunch sporting some socks from Forever 21. Alexis says she wears her cool socks because they are “cute” and “fashionable”.
In her white Converse, Anna Dahl (’15) wears the Christian Brothers branded socks from the student store. When asked why she likes to wear them Anna says, “they are just cute, and go great with the uniform!”
Antonia Eliopoulos (’15) recommended a few stores to keep the fun CB trend going. The junior says the best places to find these cool and funky socks are American Eagle,Urban Outfitters,and Target. She replied to the sock buzz with excitement, “I love crazy socks — they’re my favorite!”
Audrey Nelson (’16) a sophomore joins in on the sock game with subtle farm socks to show off her personal style at school. Audrey says these particular socks all her all time favorite because she just loves farm animals.
