Christmas is coming up just around the corner and this week, Christian Brothers will celebrate the holiday season by showing off our Christmas spirit.
According to Ms. Rose Ann Holmes, Christmas spirit week is a great way to “make everyone feel welcomed and happy,” and it’s not hard to see why.
This year, students are encouraged to embrace the holiday season by wearing Christmas themed sweaters Monday-Thursday. Though students must abide by the normal CB dress code during these days, meaning that they must wear CB approved shirts and dress code pants; it is still a fun a way for them to flaunt their Christmas style.
The usual Christmas spirit day is scheduled for this Friday, December 7th. Students are encouraged to wear layers of green and red as well as other holiday accessories that embrace the spirit of Christmas. Along with their festive attire, students may also wear jeans on this day.
Friday is also the day of our fun-filled Christmas assembly that will be accompanied by delicious, and free, hot chocolate and candy canes. There will also be candy grams for sale and photos with Santa during both lunches on Friday.
Another fun part of Christmas spirit week is the annual B set Door Decorating contest so don’t forget to stop and check out these lovely classrooms on your way to class this week. For a complete list of teachers entering the contest check out the list below:
