A Christian Brothers school year is full of fun events; with dances, sporting events, and spirit days, there’s always something happening. But all these special occasions beg the question: which event is best? After hours of soul searching and countless heated conversations between the Talon staff members, we came up with a ranking of the top ten events at CB.

10. Sadie’s

“I  just love to dance and boogie!!” – Maddie Mercer (’18)

9. Family Dance

“The Family Dance is a great time because it’s fun to dress up and dance with your parents” – Olivia Eliopoulos (’18) 

8. Plays and Open Mic

“It’s fun to see another side of your peers and all the hard work they’ve put into something they’re passionate about.” – Jacob Cherry (’18)  

7. Christmas Concert and Spirit Day

“The Christmas concert is amazing because it’s Christmas time and that’s the best time of year.”- Natalie Storm (’18) 

6. Holy Hoops and Holy Court

 

“I love the energy of the crowd and being able to cheer on your team and rush the court after the game. It’s such a supportive community experience.” – Amelia Conaghan (’18)

5. Valentine’s Spirit Day

“I like Valentine’s Day at CB because I like finding everyone’s heart, and I think it’s really cool because everyone can participate and get into it.” – Claire Martin (’18)

4. Homecoming and Homecoming Spirit Week

“I love dancing with my friends. The spirit days and rally are fun too and it really brings the whole community together.”– Isabella McGinness (’19) 

3. Prom

“Prom is fun because it’s just Upper Division so you don’t have to deal with the underclassmen. As seniors, it was my final dance so it was the best.”- Nina Vitorelo (’18) 

2. Founder’s Day

“I love Founder’s Day because it’s all about making final memories with people we might not see again”– Preston Winters (’18)
