Christian Brothers students have a very unique bond. Some of these bonds are called “Bromances”, or in other words, the romance of brothers. I set out on a journey to find these “Bromances” and find out how these friends became Bros. I spoke with five groups of friends and asked them a series of questions. So lets find out how these fellow Falcons became buds.

Jake Regino (’18) & Sam Tanberg (’18)

Group Name: “simply Jake and Sam”

When/How did you guys meet? “We met Summer going into Freshman year at baseball practice” – Jake

Favorite Memory: “The time we were driving home in my moms car and we thought it was a good idea for me to spit out the passenger window, and Sam stuck his head out the window behind the passenger seat and tried to catch it and the spit went into his ear” – Jake  

Gunnor Faulk (’18) & Connor Laffan (’18)

Group Name: GONNOR

When/How did you guys meet? “We met when [Spencer Webb] slipped and fell in the mud on Gunnor’s first day at CB. I started texting him for the first time on the way home from Disneyland New Year’s Day 2017.” – Connor

Favorite Memory: ” We really enjoy baking things, like cakes or cookies.”- Gunnor

  

Drew Taylor (’18) & Michael Grandstaff (’18)

Group Name: “The New York Knicks”

When/How did you guys meet? “We met in Kindergarten” –  Michael

Favorite Memory: “One time my iPhone X unlocked when Michael looked at my phone — it was crazy!” – Drew

 

Johnny Pressey (’18) & Erik Oushakoff (’18)

Group Name: “Yung Poets”

When/How did you guys meet? “The wonderful Christian Brothers community brought our two, lost souls together, and we both had the same thing drawn on our backpacks” – Erik

Favorite Memory: “Our favorite memory has to be all of the times we’ve spent at East Portal. Jumping in and out of the portal. Writing poetry for hours upon hours, honey dips by our sides, conquering anything that stepped in our way” – Erik

 

Cameryn Walker (’18) & Everett Perrot (’18)

Group Name: “Big Skinny”

When/How did you guys meet? “We met in summer school going into third grade” – Cam

Favorite Memory: “Our favorite memory together is when we were at my house and it was dark in the hallway and I popped out and scared him. Everett then jumped and kicked me in the chest” – Cam
