Honors Band is known for their impeccable music skills, but there’s also an often overlooked aspect about this group. Their hair game is unmatched by any other class at CB (except the Talon of course).

Braeden Bourke (’16)

“Braeden Bourke has the most flawless hair I’ve ever noticed. It’s just fantastic. It’s so blonde. With the part and the coif in the front it’s so fantastic,” says Justin Baker (’15). “You can’t get any better than Braeden Bourke’s hair — it’s as simple as that”

Valente Araiza (’16)

“Valente’s hair is like the ocean, it’s wavy,” shares Ayanna Watkins (’17) “It reminds me of fish swimming in the sea”

Kathryn Anonsky (’17) adds that “it’s more wavy like curly fries gone wrong.”

William Tracy (’15)

“Will’s hair is my favorite. He’s got a nice voluptuous and long floppy thing in the front,” says Quentin Barbosa (’15). “Sometimes when it’s wet it’s been compared to Mr. Hood.”

Will Saalsaa (’18)

“I kind of want to take a nap in it, that’s how comfy it looks,” describes Sean Baker (’17). It just has a playful personality to it.”

Ayanna Watkins (’17)

“Ayanna Watkins is a great person. She’s a role model and extremely brilliant,” describes Valente. “Her hair is braided constantly. I like the way it looks. Ayanna Watkins hair is a reflection of how beautiful she is on the inside.”

Sam Woolridge (’16)

“Sam’s hair is the essence of Class A,” says Frank Huntington (’15). “It is the equivalent to duck feathers.”

Ms. Brousseau

Sadly, Honors Band instructor Mr. Maslen had jury duty and was unavailable to be photographed. But the gorgeous hair even shows when the class has a substitute teacher.

“Well I’ve never had Ms. Brousseau, but her hair looks very on point,” shares Kyle Smith (’15). “I like the waviness, it’s wavy but not too wavy. The side part is right at the perfect angle”

“Kyle Smiths hair is love. It’s life and if you’ve never touched it you should” advises Alex Glaude (’15).

“I wish he still had an Afro” Quentin says regretfully.
