Do you want to build a snowman?

Disney is known for the creation of inspiring fairy tales, one of their latest being the film Frozen. The movie has been blowing up the box office, selling $384.1 million worth of tickets so far since its release on November 27, 2013.

The film is filled with singalong songs and a plot that grabs your attention until the final snowflake has fallen. It can be enjoyed for people of all ages, scoring an 89% on the popular critic site, Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie tells a story of two sister’s, Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) and Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) who became separated when young Elsa loses control of her frozen powers. Will Elsa and Anna ever be able to be best friends like before? Who knows? You’d have to watch and see!

This article was not written to provide a summary, but only to inspire the CB community to take the time to enjoy this wonderful film. Many think they are “too old” or “too cool” to watch the movie when in reality, Frozen is the coolest movie around!

I talked to many CB students who are huge fans of the film. Anna Dahl (’15) is overjoyed that she shares the same name as Frozen’s main character, Princess Anna.

“I am Princess Anna, we are the same person, we share the same personality” says the eccentric teen.

Mr. Dave Anderson ’07 holds Frozen Fridays weekly in his C set. The Sophomore Literature class jams to the entire album of Frozen in celebration.

Samantha Earley (’16), a big Frozen fan and member of Mr. Anderson’s C set, very much enjoys Frozen Fridays in class.

“Even the thought of Frozen Friday makes me jump up and down!” she explains.

Although most of the sophomores are teenagers, they still enjoy the tunes of the Frozen soundtrack together. Age does not matter — once you go ‘Frozen,’ you never go back!

The movie has captivated many of those at CB, with everything from the wonderful songs to the twisted plot that never fails to surprise. But at the end of the day, it’s just a good movie to see with some friends.
