Lunchtime Love

The Talon goes inside the lunch of a CB student. Is it  just a paper bag? or a statement that says, “I eat what I want”?

In response to the distaste of the Christian Brothers cafeteria food students have been bringing their own food from home to satisfy their tummies at the common lunch.

Isabella Manning’s (’15) fancy lunch includes tasty tomato, chicken, and rice complimented by her baby pink nails.

Anna Dahl (’15) is seen enjoying her salad that includes lettuce, kidney beans, and corn topped off with the always fantastic thousand island dressing. Anna doesn’t know what it is about the salad that makes her salad so great –“I don’t know I just love it!”

AnnaMarie Carmazzi (’15) and Anna are just two friends enjoying their made (with love) sack lunches from home, having laughs and making memories with the CB community.

Claire Jones Ruman (’15) sits down on the lawn to decide what she will eat first. Claire’s lunch includes a rice cake, apple sauce, and a mom’s lunch classic, fruit snacks.

Someone went to the Far East with their food preferences and brought sushi! This student really is smart staying well hydrated on these ironically hot October days.

These group of senior girls sit together with their made from home lunches in stylish and very fashionable bags to brighten up the common lunch.
