Don’t change the channel. This Saturday’s Frosh/Soph open dance has a SportsCenter.

Does the student council expect everyone to dress up as Dan Patrick or Linda Cohn for this weekend’s annual Frosh/Soph Open Dance? No, but that wouldn’t be frowned upon.

“We’re expecting people to dress up in different sports jerseys,”  sophomore student council member Tia Eliopoulos (’15) says excitedly.

“I’m wearing a Monarchs jersey!” interjected CB sophomore Isabella Grannuci (’15).

CB has warmly extended the invitation to local Catholic high schools St. Francis and Jesuit. Students like Isabella Manning (’15) are ecstatic about the upcoming event.

“I’m going, so its definitely going to be awesome,” she told The Talon.

Other students, like Isabella, have been preparing for the dance for weeks.

“I know how to waltz and tango,” said Isabella G. ” So I’m gonna whisk my partner off their feet.”

The dance will be held on the CB Mary Lawn from 7:30PM to 10:30PM on April 20th. Tickets can be bought at the SLC window during break and lunch for $8.
