It’s that time of year again – Girl Scout Cookie season! The CB community shares their favorites.

Student Pick:

Student Pick: Megan Perry (’14) can’t get enough of the Caramel Delights, known more commonly as the Samoa.

“Well, I don’t really look forward to Girl Scout Cookie season, but when it comes I definitely get excited,” she says. “I just got some boxes of the Samoas, and I am pretty happy about that. They are just so good!”

Teacher Pick:  Biology teacher Ms. Nicole Brousseau loves the “quite delicious” Thin Mints, but says her favorite has to be the Thanks-A-Lots.

“Well they are totally multifunctional,” she adds. “Because not only do they teach you another language, they also satisfy your hunger with complex carbohydrates!”

For those looking to expand their Girl Scout Cookie horizons, Ms. Brousseau has a creative solution.

“If you roast a marshmallow, and put in in between two Thanks-A-Lots, it’s just like a having a little s’more,” the science teacher says.

Talon Pick: Senior Camille Peters (’13) is fond of all kinds of Girl Scout Cookies. But, unlike many other fans of the delicious treats, she enjoys eating and selling them.

“My sister is currently a Girl Scout, and I was a Girl Scout,” she says. “I especially love selling the cookies because not only are they delicious, but it benefits the Troops who sell them.”
